This table is a beauty. It's black with a bit of wood grain texture on the top. It fits the space nicely, seats 6 chairs comfortably, and can be used casually. I have it sitting on an 8X10 rug. With the right setting, it can look a bit more formal as well. I love this purchase. I would have given it five stars, 1) but the wood grain textured design is not smooth when wiping the table, it has a bit of snag against the towel and 2) there is a tiny knick on the table that shows the brown wood under the painted top. This is one of the best purchases we have made from Wayfair. It is MUCH nicer in person - super high quality and very durable. We've had this for 5-6 years now and it still looks brand new. The 60" table IS huge - so make sure you have enough room for it, and that whatever area rug you get, allows for chairs to be pulled out for seating.
