Well built but not quite up to Michael's standards. It is not the Michael's oak finish. It is lighter. I already own 14 Michael's Mission oak , quarter sawn furniture pieces which are much deeper/richer in color. This will serve its purpose though. It was well packed and protected. Delivery was perfect.. Janis. Huntington Beach, CA. Mon Sep 07 2026

File in style with our Mission Style quarter sawn oak 2 drawer file cabinet with lock and key

Excellent quality Represented accurately on website Would recommend. Ellen. Cerro Gordo, IL. Fri Jan 31 2025

The warm cottage style of this file cabinet transforms any home office into an inviting workspace. It is made from solid and engineered wood with a warm dark coffee finish and stands on tapered legs. The side and front wainscoting panels, beveled edge top, and brushed nickel knobs add to the refined look of this handsome piece. The top drawer is ideal for small supplies and the lower drawer is usable for letter or legal-sized file folders. What’s more, a rolling caster underneath keeps this table stable when the file drawer is open. Top with decor or use it as an extension of your workspace. Partial assembly is required.

The file cabinet is a nice style and size. The directions are only in drawings, so it took me installing one side incorrectly and undoing it to get it put together correctly. Make certain you install the wooden dowel plugs before you install the screws. Make sure when assembling the small drawer that you start assembling it with the right side too. :/ The cabinet was packaged well, but mine still had a couple scratches on the top. Not bad enough for me to return it, but annoying to me. The drawer for the files has an added wheel that installs on the front bottom center. We'll see if that is to prevent the drawer from breaking and how well the cabinet holds up to regular wear and tear over time.. Pamela. USA. Wed Jul 30 2025

This best selling file cabinet is priced to sell. You won't find a better made cabinet for this price!

The color shows a honey shade but what we got matches the chestnut description much darker than shown. To me, the smell of the piece is like a brand new pair of leather shoes if you put your nose right in the shoe box, it is house filling. To my wife the smell is intolerable, we hope it will calm down after a while. It arrived in perfect shape and is a delight to the eyes. It has a counter weight built right in to help prevent tip over. The file hanger rails are easy to adjust on ours, with no tools needed just lift and slide push back down. No need to remove drawer face on ours.. Jon. Sunland, CA. Wed Jan 10 2024
