With the exception of one assembly step, this was a straightforward one strong person unpacking and assembly. At one point they want you to have the base stood up on its side so that the pillars can be slid through the holes in the bale. I made a support of the shipping boxes to support the then horizontal heavy pillars parallel to the floor while I attached them. ALSO: do the later steps that require you to work at the bottom while the stand is already on its side. The motor runs smoothly but I haven't attached tho 100" screen to it yet—I don't expect that will be a problem. This product works exactly as advertised. My friends and family were really impressed with the professional look to my new setup as well. I knew mounting above my fireplace was not ideal, but in my house, it really was imperative! This is a great solution for reducing neck strain looking up, and even my wife loves it!!! I did have some difficulties in trying to figure out EXACTLY where to mount it as the directions were not the easiest to decipher for fitting my mount/tv into a tight cavity I built into above my mantle. I’m sure with a little practice, I would nail it in the future, but how many am I gonna do? Lol! The construction and quality of the product is obvious, and I have no doubt it will work for many years to come.
