loved the table. but took all metal off (extension suports and extra metal feet part) - much better crude, only wood. when we need extensions, will pickup in the garage. after some months have passed....... the wood covering is just a cover, it chips and cracks - very sad, because the table is beautiful - but it won't last long years.. This was an easy build, clear instructions, and screws pre-organized by type. They recommend having 2 people, but I was able to assemble it by myself. I used an end table [with some books on top] to hold each side rail up to make assembly easy. As for lifting it to face it upright , I grabbed the side rail to lift the table just a little, slid a book under the middle to raise the bottom edge. From there it was easy to turn the table on it's side. After that, I slid the book under it again, lifted it halfway over, then slid around to the opposite side while holding on, to be able to lower it gently. You can do it! I don't have things arranged to my liking in the room yet, but this table will seat 6 people easily!
