Ambudkar One-of-a-Kind 6' x 8'3" 1980s Rectangle Wool Area Rug in Blue and Ivory

This is an authentic vintage Turkish Balikesir rug hand-knotted in Turkey. Woven with an all wool pile on a wool foundation this rug is in excellent condition. Balikesir rugs – Balikesir rugs and kilims from this region are made by the descendants of the Turkoman Yoruks that settled in the outlying villages. Balikesir rugs are usually woven with latch-hook motifs and are made with natural-dyed wool from the surrounding areas.
