Wall damage around a dartboard rarely comes from the wild throws. It comes from the ones that clip the wire and skate off the edge of the board. This surround takes care of exactly those, adding five inches of foam on every side of the face so the outer segments have a landing zone behind them. It slips over a mounted board and stays put. One thing to check first: it is cut for a regulation 17.75 inch dartboard and will not fit an 18 inch face.
