This arrived considerably ahead of schedule, so it sat in a garage for more than a month before we moved in. It's so heavy, I paid the movers to take it upstairs. That's the first warning: it takes MULTIPLE people to handle this thing. The second warning is the quality of the directions: they're awful. Not just a little bad, but absolutely awful. I'm an engineer so this kind of stuff is usually child's play for me. But, my husband (very mechanical) and a friend (also an engineer) spent an entire day trying to decipher the incomprehensible installation instructions that lack the usual step-by-step with diagrams. Instead, what you get is a listing of pieces without any indication of which bag or box they may be in. One of the crucial pieces for adding a privacy panel at the end was found in the bag with the drawer pulls. Seriously? For six miserable hours, we put this thing together. It's unbelievably huge. But, you better look at the configuration before you start to put the pieces into place: only the side without the drawers has any sufficient depth for a multiple monitor stand attachment. The side with the drawers is narrower and lacks a "lip" for a monitor arm. Adding peculiarity to weirdness, the approach to cabling is incoherent on a good day, and this wasn't a good day. There's a grommet over the cubby hole over the drawers for no apparent reason. It's just random, like a lot about this desk. There's another grommet at the other end of this side where you can attach the power unit, but it's also directly going to be aligned with the cubby if you put the drawer at that end; it just makes no sense. A more sensible approach would have been to add grommets on each of the ends for both sides so you can guide cables through, use a cable management system. But that's not what they did. Instead, the larger unit has cable grommets on both ends while the narrow side has none. Not helpful. Just as strange, the keyboard unit is slightly off alignment as the left edge of the drawer pulls out under the top of the center unit. Why? Who types with their left hand under the edge of a table? I would not recommend this unless you have a team of burly lumberjack engineers to put it together for you.

This is a very nice looking desk - it's a good size and is very sturdy. I assembled it myself in about five and a half hours - it would likely be faster with two people. Figuring out the part with the drawers was the most time consuming part - the rest was very straight forward. The only downside was that there was some damage on one of the edges of desk when I received it.

This desk is exactly what I needed! Assembly takes a while but it’s not complicated. Definitely recommend this!

This is a luxury desk that I always dream. I love it!.I really recommend that you buy it.

A wonderful complement to my new craft room! First of all, this desk is HUGE. It provides ample workspace for myself and the flexibility to reconfigure its reversible layout, as needed. A few other notes Design (9) - The contrast between the white and walnut gray is stunning. The listing photos dont capture it well but there are subtle hints of brown throughout. Underneath, there is plenty of room to roll a chair or swing your legs as you please. I used the area of the desk designed to hide a desktop tower to store a 16 gallon trash can. I only deducted one point because, as you can see, there is a small gap between the L-shaped portion of the desk and the U-addition. Cable Management (10) - The reversible layout is made possible by five quality cable management plugs. I absolutely love being able to charge my devices using the desks USB inserts. A nice added touch! Sturdiness (8) - I was surprised by the quality of this build. The wood pieces, although particle board, are quite thick and reinforced by metal inserts. I took off a couple of points because two brackets hold together the adjoining portion of the L-shaped wing (hugging my wall). These two brackets, if not tightened, will leave the top weak. I had to use a power drill to ensure the screws were secure. Doing it manually, I likely would have stripped the heads. Once they were tightened, however, I was able to put full pressure on the top but would still be cautious of this area when moving the desk around. Construction (8) - The instruction manuals were fairly simple to follow. Some parts were confusing because piece placement is assumed on a few pages. Its relatively easy, however, to figure out what goes where once youre a few pages in. The filing cabinet was the most difficult to assemble. Altogether, it took roughly 6 hours and required two people. Well worth it, I might add! Delivery (9) - The delivery process was exceptional. I had to reschedule the delivery date and that was handled with no challenges. The men tasked with dropping off the desk were kind enough to bring the boxes directly downstairs. The desk arrived undamaged in two separate boxes, both of which were incredibly heavy (which I was expecting). Two people would be required to move them, at a minimum. Would I buy again Yes! The versatility of this desk amazes me every day. If you have the space and love the style, this desk is an easy choice.

Love the desk! Solid sturdy. Looks amazing! Exactly what I needed. Perfect. The assembly was two kits and it did take some thought because there are multiple configurations it can take on, but in the end fairly simple to assemble.
