Only 4 stars because we have never used the tub to actually take a bath. Chose this size and shape during the remodel of our master bath and it worked really well in the space, which previously had a corner garden tub. Plumber had an easy time getting it in and it’s genuinely heavy enough that it doesn’t wobble or move at all. This is a beautiful bathtub. The price is awesome for what you get. I love the shape as it is soft in a very square area in our bathroom. It’s super deep and the husband and I can both fit in it well. It does have a bit of a narrow center so it’s a little tight in the middle with both of us in there, but still plenty of room. It comes in a crate and its 300 pounds so beware. I paid for the delivery service and it was no problem although the men visibly struggled to get it into my bedroom. My master is on the first floor. I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. Really nice clean lines. I like that I could choose the color of the stopper. I picked the gold color. I wish that the tub overflow was also gold but it came in silver. Great tub, very wide for big shoulders but also doesn’t require a ton of water. Only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is the OEM overflow drain kit is very fragile and not easy to replicate with warehouse parts. You need to be able to tighten the threads securely and not have the thin PVC snap off!! Just plan on upgrading overflow drain kit for $39 from the get go a you’ll be satisfied with the tub!
