The Gen-Z solid wood platform storage bed combines an open-frame design with built-in organization for a bedroom that needs practical storage. Its platform construction supports a mattress directly without a box spring, keeping the sleeping area simple while making use of the space around and beneath the bed. Designed with six drawers and six open shelves, this storage bed provides dedicated places for clothing, bedding, books, and everyday essentials. Two enclosed compartments with doors offer additional storage for items you prefer to keep out of view. Two pullout shelves can serve as convenient nightstands for a phone, charger, book, or cup, while space beneath the slatted bed base can accommodate suitcases or storage boxes. Crafted entirely from solid wood, the Gen-Z platform bed features an open-frame profile that integrates drawers, shelves, and cabinets into the bed structure. Its space-conscious arrangement makes it a practical choice for bedrooms where separate storage furniture may take up valuable floor space. The bed has a stated weight capacity of 880 pounds and arrives disassembled in four boxes with detailed step-by-step assembly instructions. A mattress can be placed directly on the platform and is sold separately.
