• Veneer: For cleaning, use an only a slightly damp cloth followed by a separate dry cloth. In case of small scratches apply a colourless wax. Always test a small area before applying in full. Avoid contact with chemical bleaches and pets. If the furniture has been in contact with acid liquids such as vinegar, sodas, fruit juices, lemon or others, always clean the surface with lukewarm water immediately. Concrete: Our lightweight concrete tops are made of stone powder, cement, fibreglass and water. They are naturally poured and have been sealed with a wax sealer to ensure the lasting beauty of the concrete surfaces. Clean with dish soap and water. Do not use strong highly acidic cleaners, they can damage the natural materials. Re-wax periodically every 3 to 6 months with clear wax or any available stone floor wax with a paraffin base. Concrete is a natural live material and non-structural hairline expansion lines may appear as a result of shrinkage, expansion and the natural curing process. These are not considered defects but rather part of the natural beauty and maturing of concrete. The concrete tops will maintain their overall strength even if these do appear, as they are only present in the very thin top layer of the concrete top. If they do appear, just apply a bit of wax and rub in well to prevent moisture from seeping into the hairline and causing discolouration.
