This is not a file cabinet. It doesn’t have a hanging file system and standard 8.5x11 paper size barely fits in the drawer. I just moved into my new apartment and so far everything I’ve ordered from Wayfair doesn’t match the description. The policies are so stringent that the customer service agents are robotic. No empathy for individual customer situations.

Bad quality, very hard to setup

First off, this small filing cabinet comes with not a single piece assembled, including the drawer slides. Due to this, putting this together took almost 3 hours, including a solid 15 minutes where 16 small metal ball bearings popped out of the slide, and I had to hunt for them on the floor and reinstall the metal sliding piece. In total, I would estimate that this came with 100+ pieces of hardware if that sounds appealing to you. This was clearly made out of the cheapest pieces of particle board in a factory in China. The directions do not contain a single word (I presume whoever put them together did not know English, or at least not very well). The lack of pre-assembly also causes issues----the slides on the drawers will inevitably not be at the same exact height causing difficulty in opening and closer the drawers. From a side view, I can also see where certain drawers stick out slightly further than others which means that the pre-drilled holes for assembly were not precise. I am only giving this two-stars instead of one because if you push it up against a wall and never open it, you might not know that this was a total piece of junk made in China. It actually looks fairly nice---if you do not inspect it too closely.

If you're looking for a true "file drawer," don't buy this cabinet. This item should NOT be called a filing cabinet. The bottom drawer is not a file drawer. It does not have "rails" for hanging file folders and it's too narrow, too short and not deep enough to add a file folder frame. It was a big job (although not too difficult) putting it together. I found assembly very straight forward, but it still took about two hours. On the bright side, it is super-cute. My daughter is thrilled that she will now get this cabinet for her desk. I need a file drawer for my home office and this just isn't going to work.

just what we needed; easy assembly and quality product

Not a high end object but works for me as I wanted s nice looking file cabinet type thing. Assembly not so easy so if you need help make sure that you do this during the week days; they are unavailable for support on weekends.

Drawers were a little crooked but roll nice and overall looks good. Pretty easy to put together.

Disappointed!!!
