2 Drawer Metal Lateral File Cabinet With Lock

Don’t buy this filing cabinet. We ordered it April 22 and when the assembly person came he said parts were missing. When we contacted Wayfair they said they couldn’t provide the missing parts and would send a new unit, but the responsibility was ours to get rid of the broken cabinet, which is very heavy. Then we waited for the new cabinet and on May 10 the assembly person came, assembled the new cabinet and also said he fixed the old one. As soon as we began filling the drawers, the rails separated and the drawers, for BOTH cabinets fell. Wayfair says they may have been assembled upside down! We have two unusable filing cabinets which WE are responsible for putting into the garbage, because Wayfair doesn’t help with dis-assembly or retrieving the damaged merchandise. Beware of this awful product!!!

The description said easy assembly; wrong! We spent almost two hours trying to get it put together and finally gave up. We put the pieces with the instructions out in front of our house with a "Free" sign. Someone actually took it! We ordered a different printer stand from someone else, which actually was easy to assemble.

For the price point, it a great file cabinet, looks professional in my home office and am very happy with it so far.
