Love it, good quality looks great in my space

TOTAL pain in the neck to assemble. It looks reasonably nice but it took two of us 7 hours to put it together!

This bookcase is even prettier than pictured! We easily assembled. I love this. This is perfect for my requirements

This bookcase is great for small rooms. Has deep enough shelves to fit wide binders and cookbooks. I liked that the bookcase also had cabinet doors at the bottom, which was what I was looking for in particular. My husband and I just wanted a place to hide some items. Overall, the bookcase is very sturdy and well made. I would suggest using mounting brackets to secure the bookcase if you don't like wobbling or have small children around. The one major complaint I do have is that the wood used to make the product is very soft. I have included pictures to show that it isn't very hard to make knicks or impressions in the wood when assembling the product. Because of the dark coloring of the wood, the knicks are barely noticeable unless you are closer to it or really looking for them. I would still highly suggest this bookcase though.

LOVE these bookshelves! Everything but the back piece is REAL wood. I love that they’re deeper than many of the bookshelves I saw out there, so they’re deep enough to hold our board games. The doors on the bottom are great for keeping at least some part of our space looking organized (let’s face it with two toddlers it’s hard to keep up!).

WOW--better than expected. Got 2 bookcases/display cases and am very happy with the quality. Black accents are a nice touch.

The bookshelf arrived with the right door missing. We went ahead and put it together anyway. Instructions were pretty clear, but it was still difficult to put together while keeping all the shelves square and the bottom flat with all the boards that come together. When I screwed the middle back board into the shelf, it cracked the shelf. The same thing happed when screwing the top edging piece into the side edging piece. We tried to fix both with wood glue. The process of ordering the replacement door was very simple and the door showed up sooner than expected. The problem is that the replacement door does not match! The color is slightly lighter and greyer, and the size is slightly smaller, so it just doesn't line up right with the other door. The other thing that bothers me that you can't see from the product pictures is that the back support board that hold in the back panels does not go all the way to the top board, so there is about a 1/4 inch gap where the bookshelf has no back. And the back panels are pretty flimsy and don't quite match. They have a dark side and a light side, and neither looked right when placed next to the wood. We used the dark side, but it just looks like cardboard on the back, not matching in color or wood grain. It probably won't be as noticeable when the bookshelf is full, but it seems like they could have done a better job on it.

It was fairly easy to put together. I lead able to do it by myself in about an hour and a half. It is beautiful and will be the start of my new theme for my new home. The fact that it’s fairly neutral makes it a good first pick for me.

this worked, but I added wood glue to all of the joints as the fasteners didn't inspire confidence when assembling - I rough sanded the areas before gluing, as the finished parts would not bond with the glue

Looks good when finished. A hard to assemble with one person and directions are hard to read and unclear.
