Metropolitan Top End Table

Introducing the side table Metropolitan, part of The Met x Eichholtz collection. Drawing inspiration from the sleek lines of The Met's front steps, this piece evokes the elegance of historical artisanship with an open-grain veneer and an antiqued mirror top. Its design seamlessly blends into your modern living space. Historic provenance: With influences from The Metropolitan Museum of Art and New York City, the side table Metropolitan takes its design cues from The Met's instantly recognizable architecture and the iconic steps leading up to the Museum. The side table recalls the scale and grandeur of The Met's Beaux-Arts entryway and great hall, as well as the Museum's many artworks and objects and the way in which they're presented. The collection also looks at the city's iconic skyline, capturing its artistic and dynamic spirit.
