Ruyi 89 " W Solid Wood Top Console Table

Crafted in the late 18th century, this altar table is distinguished by its intricately hand-carved Ruyi panel legs. A Ruyi, meaning 'as desired' in Chinese, embodies both ceremonial significance in Chinese Buddhism and symbolizes good fortune in folklore. The table showcases a naturally aged wooden top and robust construction, adorned with delightful patinas, age-appropriate dents, and graceful signs of wear and tear. As an antique Chinese piece, it effortlessly transforms into an elegant Asian console table, a perfect addition to grand living rooms, dining spaces, hallways, or entryways.
