109.06 " W Solid Wood Top Console Table

This exceptional antique altar table is a rare gem. It measures 119" inch long and is in its original condition. Crafted in the late 19th century, this altar table is distinguished by its intricately hand-carved ruyi panel legs and 4 pairs ruyi spandrels on both front and back. A ruyi, meaning 'as desired' in Chinese, embodies both ceremonial significance in Chinese Buddhism and symbolizes good fortune in folklore. The table showcases one elm slab naturally aged wooden top and robust construction, adorned with delightful patinas, age-appropriate dents, and graceful signs of wear and tear.
