Dauphin 20'' H Beech Armchair

In interiors, the quintessential French chair is the oval back dining chair. Pictured in drawings, and paintings, described in textbooks and fiction alike, this was the “it” chair of the 1700s. Our version, available with or without arms, has a tight seat and upholstered back carved in detail from Beech. It is not only a dining chair but can be included in living rooms as an occasional chair or as a desk chair when needed. Fluted legs support a carved seat with rain and an oval back.
