Super comfortable chair. The back sits up straight enough for support but is cushy and adjustable enough for long nights rocking a baby. The taupe color is warm and the fabric seems really durable without showing stains and wear. So far many naps have already taken place in it. Very happy with the purchase. UPDATE: 4 years later, this thing squeaks like none other. No matter how you rock in it or where you seat on the seat, there are squeaks and creaks. I bought one of these recliners about 3 years ago and loved it so much that I just bought another recently—like last week. I noticed that it was made even better than my first one. The foot lift is smother and pushing the foot rest down is also smother and easier. The seat itself is firmer and fuller and they have changed the design in such a way that you don’t need a “specialist” to come to your home to put it together. The recliner comes in several pieces. Installing the back to the bottom part was simple. I did struggle a little with adding the sides of the chair, I had to get my daughter to help me. The chair is comfortable but I do feel like the back lays back a little too much when lifting your legs up. I like the rocking motion and that chair swivels. Definitely a light pastel green. Bottom cushion is stiff but good for constant wear. Material is surprisingly nice. Functions perfectly. Needs some throw pillows to cozy it up. Back pillow rises to the top of the back of my neck so still comfortable to rest my head on it with minimal slouching (I’m 5’4). Overall happy with it. Haven’t tried the foot rest yet.
