Turning clockwise, wrap two to four turns of Thread Tape onto the threaded end of the Stub Out Nipple (B).Turning clockwise, hand-tighten the new Tub Spout (A) onto the Stub Out Nipple (B)Turn the shower ""ON"". TEST FOR LEAKS.** CAUTION: DO NOT USE IF LEAKING FROM THE REAR. WALL DAMAGE CAN OCCUR. **-Note: This device is designed in compliance with ASME A112.18.1-2005/CSA B125.1-05 standard. A small amount of water is intended to flow from the spout when the diverter is engaged.
