About This Product
Homacer provides you with affordable and easy-to-install interior sliding barn door hardware kits (doors not included) for your barn doors. Our hardware kits could be used for bathroom doors, bedroom doors, cabinets, closet doors, laundry room doors, and more. Our modern black rustic metal design allows for heavy duty usage, fitting door weights to a total of 220lbs. Our track and nylon wheels allows smooth and silent gliding at all times. Features
- This kit only includes hardware, the door(s) are not included.
- The standard door thickness for our hardware is from 1 3/8'' to 1 3/4''.
- The door size depends on your opening size. Opening size plus 7" and then dividing by 2 should be the minimum width per door.
- Track 8ft and under is only one piece track. For the one piece bar, the spacing between two mounting holes is 16 inches. Track 9ft and above are connected by 2 or 3 tracks using a junction plate, so the spacing between the holes where the bars connect is not 16 inches, and a header board is needed.
- Premium black rustic carbon steel, heavy-duty, total door(s) weight up to 220 lbs. High-quality nylon wheels ensure minimal noise.
- The hardware package only has lag bolts for wooden walls/drywall.
- If you have a door trim, please put a header board that is as thick as the trim and then attach the rail to the header board.
- You need to have at least 5" of space between the top of the door to the ceiling to accommodate the hardware.
- Two hangers are used to hold one door. For a single track bypass kit double door kit, there will be four hangers in the package: 2 flat & 2 bent. If you have a door that is either too wide or too heavy, then you can purchase additional hangers for that door.
- IMPORTANT: for a single track bypass system with regular roller designs, there will be an inevitable overlap between the two doors when you slide them apart. The overlap is about 6 1/4”, which would shorten the overall coverage by the two doors. For example, if you have two 40” wide doors, the actual coverage that they can achieve will be 2x40”-6 1/4”=73 3/4”, and not 2x40”=80”. Please take this into account before purchasing!
