This delightful Art Nouveau poster was created by the Swiss-born French painter and printmaker, Theophile Steinlen (1859 - 1923). The design features a haughty black cat sitting neatly with its gaze fixed on the viewer. It is housed at the Zimmerli Art Musuem, Rutgers University, USA. This beautiful tapestry is lined and has a tunnel for ease of wall-hanging.

This was a great choice! I had been looking for a tapestry that would cover the space above our king size bed without spending hundreds of dollars. This fits exactly how I wanted it to and it looks beautiful. The price was amazing as well! I love the detail in it and it’s super lightweight so it doesn’t pull down in the center at all. It also came with different hardware to hang it up, which was incredibly helpful!. Kaytie. Oklahoma City, OK. Thu Mar 25 2021

Dotting the sky are stars, some planets, and the moon in blue-gray colors that complement the monochromatic design of the tapestry. Very pretty. Improves the look of my room. I used tacks that have flat backs on them. Kind of a pain to push into the wall, but a good finger workout.. Laurie. Denver, CO. Tue Feb 08 2022
