Alabaster has a softness other stones give up in exchange for hardness, and it shows in the way this frame handles light across its face. Veining shifts piece to piece, so the border varies from one to the next. Set it on a dresser or a desk, where stone brings a little gravity to a small photo.

I love the frame. It’s just what I wanted.. Rebecca. Sun Oct 18 2026

Frame was not stained or finished in backside. There was some overlapping stain, but it did not cover all of the frame. To me, this looked shoddy & cheap. I was disappointed to place the artwork I had had rendered in this frame. Only salvation was that the back will face a wall!. Sandra E. Pen Argyl, PA. Thu Oct 12 2023

I was a backer for the pre-production of the CATastrophe: A Game of 9 Lives on Kickstarter. I was able to purchase exclusive limited editions mini posters of some of the cats featured. I bought 4, and they are so nice, I decided I needed simple frames to put them in, and hang them on a wall, which will probably be the short one leading back to my bathroom. These are purrfect, and now I will need 2 more for the remaining posters. I bought the 11 x 17 size, which is the exact size of the posters. Defined borders do a lot of work in a gallery wall, separating one image from the next so the whole arrangement stays readable. Resin over an MDF core keeps this one light enough to move around and smooth all the way around the edge. Use it on a shelf among plainer frames, or lean it against a wall on a sideboard.
