The valance did not work for me as the fabric is more like a shiny nylon (shower curtain) type and not suitable for a bedroom. Maybe would be fine in a kitchen. Also the grommet opening that you slide the rod thru was too small to accommodate my curtain rod.. Ann. Tucson, AZ. Fri Aug 15 2025

I purchased these glasses because the curtains I had ordered I thought came with the valances but when they arrived they did not. After a further searching in the description of the curtains I realized that the valances were supposedly sold separately. after searching for them for quite a while I asked a customer service rep to help me which at that time told me those valances were no longer being so that they were a discontinued item. Very disappointed, he took the time to help me find a suitable match. I must say that the curtain valances that we chose work out perfectly well.. Mary. Highland, MI. Thu Mar 27 2025

These café curtains are made from taffeta with a crushed wrinkle look and feel. They are lightweight and allow natural light to flow through.

Nice fabric, well constructed. I might have given a 5 star rating, however I was very disappointed that the ivory color curtains don't look like the picture. The fabric is taffeta which has a nice texture, I think called 'crushed' taffeta. It does have natural creases and shadows. However, unlike the image, there are no fine dark-penciled lines loosely undefined and dispersed across the fabric. My take: looks like an enhanced photo. Unfortunately I chose these particular curtains after a long search to find cloth resembling, say, birch bark, at least something more-so derived from nature. The included photos, of the ivory color curtains, were taken on an overcast day. But, as far as what I was looking for, the appearance is the same no matter the amount of sunlight, time of day, or artificial light from room. As I see it, nothing like the product image. I decided these would do.. Anonymous. Tue Apr 25 2023

We have a very reactive rescue pup who is learning that she’s finally safe, but is still upset when neighbors walk by. Cafe curtains across the window bottoms help her look away rather than getting upset, and our house is quieter these days. It looks great alone or uses multiple valances to create a fuller look. Add a decorator’s touch by hanging the valance on a double rod with the coordinating Bordeaux rod pocket.

I’m conflicted. The material is as described, it just isn’t weighted enough to have the look in the stock photo. Thought about adding more to the valence (ie 2 instead of 1) but it still wouldn’t give the look. It was also very plain, in my opinion. It could work if you are going for an understated look..
