This design is very pretty, and I love it! There is barely any odor, and it dissipated right away. My one-bedroom apartment has a slim window next to the front door with window blinds. I keep the blinds slightly open for more light and to feel less closed in. I wanted a privacy film to be able to have the blinds open and create more light and openness, as apartment living usually means a unit's windows all face one direction. The door and this slim window face a different direction. It's not full coverage/privacy, and that's okay. Someone outside would have to put their face right up to get a clear view of the inside, and I doubt anyone would be doing that. I've included photos from the inside and outside my door, plus during different times of the day with varying sunlight, and with the blinds how I used to keep them closed. There is a little bit of rainbow effect, depending on how much sunlight hits the film. Note #1: from the outside, a lot of soap/water bubbles showed, and it's necessary to keep smoothing them out. You may not see the bubbles from outside if your window is above the first floor with no way to easily access it from outside, but then it won't matter anyway. I used a microfiber cloth for the finishing touches. Note #2: while applying and smoothing out the water, have a cloth to soak up the water that will be getting squeezed out to the edges. I had a puddle of water on the sill.. Kimberly. Carlsbad, CA. Sun Aug 02 2026

I was a little skeptical about how this would look in my newly remodeled bathroom but it is exactly the thing I needed for one second-floor window that my only distant neighbor probably couldn't see into. But I wanted something just in case, and it looks great - much better than installing blinds or shades which get dusty and mildewed over time, just for this one obscure possibility.. Pam. We got this to set up for spring and summer in the north west. We were told that summers are short but can be very sunny and heat up our home quite a lot. We also love bird watching and wanted a way to keep the birds from seeing us while we watch them. We put it up in less than an hour using soapy water in a spray bottle, a straight edge razor and a squeegee. It’s perfect for what we needed. Time will tell if it keep the house cooler but so far the birds love it and use our window feeders way more now. They can see in at night but during the day inside the house is invisible for them. Makes great birdwatching from the couch possible.. Scarlet. Kirkland, WA. Thu Apr 18 2024

No More Glue Hassle: Say goodbye to sticky chemical glue - the window sticker is super static cling and can be applied in minutes once the transparent protective backing film removed and a lot of water used. Also the film is removable and reusable for multiple times

This window film is very thick. It gives a lot of privacy. Light filters through, but only blurry shapes are visible. Application was simple on a clean window. We dampened the glass, positioned a slightly oversized piece of this product, squeegeed out the air bubbles, trimmed the excess with a hobby knife, and squeegeed one last time.. Belle. Isabelle & Max wall decals work the same way as professional-grade decals used in the automotive and signage industries. Application is easy and does not require a professional or experience. Having a helper while applying the large Tree Top Branch decals will make the application faster due to the large size of the decal but even one person can apply this life-like scale decal. Even though the decal uses a strong adhesive that is meant to last for years and years, the decal can be removed at any time by slowly peeling the decal off the wall. The decals will not leave any residue and will not damage the wall and paint as long as the paint is in good condition.

When the natural light is needed, just open the windows! *INSTALLATION TIPS: Before installation, please totally clean the window surface and corners to ensure that there is no dust on it. Remember to remove the protective liner before applying and spray plenty of water onto the glass surface and static cling side of the window film for adhesion(the more water, the better). After installation, please trim the edges and leave enough gap between the edge of the film and the window to easily squeeze out the air bubbles.*

Have used this product before and it works really well for black out. Fairly easy to install, it helps to have 2 people to install but very satisfied and it stays on .. Nanci. Liberty Township, OH. Fri Oct 30 2026

Super easy to apply, just peel and stick. Sticks to any smooth surface and can even be used outdoors.

An easy inexpensive way to add fun to a room! I was looking for something gender-neutral for my daughter son’s room that they share. I took the advice of other reviewers to cut some down so it looks like they’re falling down from the ceiling. Really happy with the result!. Jana. Wenatchee, WA. Mon Jul 31 2023
