The luxurious materials, rich colors, vintage artistry and one-of-a-kind beauty will elevate your decor and infuse individuality to any space. Features: 100% Cotton / Hand crafted / Technique: Quilted / Country of origin: India / Can be used in a variety of ways: as a blanket, table cover, wall hanging, tapestry, beach cover and more / Hand wash cold water
This is individually hand crafted, so no two are exactly alike. But each is a colorful array of woven silk patchwork, with running stiches from end to end, to secure the front and back piece. I see several rows of a bright green heavy thread, with several of an orangey red. It alternates between the two. The Wayfair picture shows a solid blue backing fabric, bit mine is a maroon color. There is an overcast stitch along the border. The finely woven silk patches are a variety of vibrant and beautiful colors and prints. It is very thin, so it won't be really warm, good for lightweight use. Could be hung on a wall, or added to a bed for decoration. It's also not knitted at all, it is woven silk patchwork secured with a Kantha stitch.. Carol. New Castle, DE. Wed Mar 26 2025
