The tassels are well made and weighty. The down insert is heavy and solid which is a benefit in my opinion. I ordered two more in ivory and I mistakenly purchased them with foam inserts instead of down. They are much lighter, rounder and "fluffier" looking with the foam inserts. I ended up filling them with down feather inserts and they look much more elegant that way.
