My husband grew up sleeping on Mexican fur blankets #iykyk so getting him used to a proper fitted and top sheet was not easy. Hubby approves of this blanket he says its even softer than expected. This ivory blanket was exactly what I needed. I got a new bed with a beige velvet headboard and the walls of the room are a pale green. I was at a loss what color would go best, and I originally got an emerald green blanket and it was much too loud. The ivory looks 100 times better. The thickness is perfect, too. Update Removed 1 star after washing and drying. I wash all textiles before use due to chemicals. Washed in large fine mesh delicates bag on delicate cycle in cold water. Dried briefly in bag on low heat until damp dry, finished on patio folded in sunshine. Several small holes developed in weave and one on hem finishing. I love the blanket so much that I painstakingly stitched each hole and hope it will hold. But for the care I took with it, it shouldn’t have happed. Glamorous, gigantic and glamorous in Light Grey. I needed a color that would tone down the yellow in my buttercream velvet chair. When I opened the package, I was concerned because it seemed like it might be just a hint warm rather than cool.
