I really wanted to give this 5 stars, but went with 4 because the hands are dark and a bit hard to see so I painted them with nail polish and now it’s perfect. Fortunately it’s pretty easy to remove the glass from the front with a small screwdriver in order to paint the hands. Overall, it’s a great clock for the price. So far it’s kept time well, and the moving gears add such a charm to it. It’s a large clock and I was worried it would be too much for my space, but it looks great hanging over my TV. I was disappointed to find the silver ring on the outside of the clock was plastic. Especially at that price but I found out why it cost so much. It sets itself.
