The contrast in this design is not formed by the colors itself, but by its finish. A glossy transparent spot varnish is printed on the matte dial to create a so-called ton sur ton effect. Depending on the light, the index print is clearly visible, slightly visible or not even visible at all. Let light set the tone. This clock is equipped with a silent movement.

Perfect for my intended need--but not exactly right (that is why the 4 and not 5). It is large and easily read (plus points)...I'd rather one JUST LIKE THIS...with less or no numbers. Beautiful Clock, but Disappointing Quality This cuckoo clock is absolutely gorgeous and incredibly cute! It is smaller than the listed dimensions would suggest, but I loved the way it looked. Unfortunately, it stopped working properly after just a few days, and the cuckoo chimes didn’t match the time. Thankfully, Wayfair was very helpful and sent me a replacement. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the new one lasts longer because it really is a charming little clock!. Grace. Los Altos, CA. Sun Oct 18 2026
