I got this because it looked like a cool addition to my indoor Halloween decor. I thought I might just use it to decorate for Halloween, but I will turn the lights to orange only, wind an autumn leaf garland with orange and yellow leaves of the same size through the branches, and use it through Thanksgiving. The assembly is simple: one piece of the tree is secured to the base, the top part of the tree is inserted into the bottom part of the tree, and you then arrange the branches as desired. It is not hard to do, but it does take just a bit of time to get the leaves and branches just right. The base stabilizes it even without the small metal stakes that come with it, so if you are using it indoors, you are good. Last, plug it into your power source.
