John Constable Transitional Traditional Wall Art

Great colors and lightweight so super easy to hang.. Stacey. Mc Kinney, TX. Thu Nov 05 2020

Widely considered Britain’s greatest artist, John Constable is often called the father of Modern Impressionism. He aimed to “hold the glass up to nature” through his paintings of English landscapes. Popular acclaim only reached Constable after his death in 1837, due to his rejection of the era’s dominant Classicism. A hand-selected piece from the exclusive partnership between Rosenstiels and Four Hands. Rosenstiels is a family-owned art publisher known for producing high-quality prints, limited editions and wall art, based in London since 1880.

Looks nice n term of colours, but it’s just a print with plastic on top of it, pretty cheap for the price. I would not recommend buying it. Aida. CA. Sun Jun 08 2025

I like the "old world" european country look of this canvas print and would recommend it to anyone who likes this style. It arrived timely and in excellent condition. It compliments another one I purchased and I am getting custom frames for both. I am anxious to see how they look when hung.. Elwanda. Riverbank, CA. Fri May 20 2022

Museum quality giclee on canvas. Hand stretched on deep stretcher bars. Gallery wrapped with image mirrored onto the sides.

Museum quality giclee on canvas. Hand stretched on deep stretcher bars. Gallery wrapped with image mirrored onto the sides.

Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high-quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished artwork.
