Gray Open Box Wallpaper

This wallpaper has a worn plaster look with a mix of rusty orange, brick red, dusty blue, and soft gray. The surface-style pattern includes natural-looking cracks, faded patches, and light scuff marks, like an old painted wall. It’s great if you want an industrial or vintage vibe without using real concrete or plaster. Use it on an accent wall in a living room, office, hallway, or behind a TV stand for a slightly gritty, modern feel. The colors pair well with black metal, warm wood, and neutral furniture, and it also works nicely with tan, cream, or charcoal decor.

This is a great wallpaper with a few caveats. This was only my second time applying wallpaper and watching a short YouTube video was helpful, but a few things that are good to know before applying The application process requires you to put the paste on the wall, not on the paper. You must put a liberal amount of paste on the wall, not a thin coat. Brush it on, do not roll it. A thin coat will leave large sections of the paper completely unstuck from the wall and then you’ll have to try and go underneath the sticky paper to reapply. The width of this paper is very generous and covers a large area. It’s also a good quality, but be careful with your scraping tool, as it can damage the paper, especially if the paper has folded in the process of putting it up. Also any excess paste you leave on the paper will show through as shiny or darken the spots where you leave it. Happy wallpapering!. Anonymous. Tue Sep 29 2026

I want to give this 5 stars because it really is a great price for a wallpaper mural, but there were both pluses and minuses to this product. I installed the mural myself. It would be easier with a second person. The product tears easily so you really have to be careful when removing the backing and smoothing each panel during application. Adhesive remains sticky even when adjusting several times which is a plus. The most difficult part for me was determining which end of each mural segment was “up” as they aren’t marked and the colors throughout are similar. Also if you mess up a panel you can’t just scrap it because the pattern doesn’t repeat.. Cindy. Boerne, TX. Sun Oct 13 2024
