I just love Lyle! That's what we named our fish! I was surprising my Mom with a re-do of one of the bedrooms and bathrooms in her condo and ORIGINALLY Lyle was going to be a bathroom fish but he ended up being a bedroom fish! The colors pick up perfectly on the gold in the mirror and hardware, greens in the bathroom paint, cream of the rug and brown of the carpet.. Emily. AL. Thu Apr 30 2026

Row row row your boat. This rectangular painting print brings a breezy coastal vibe to any room with two horizontally oriented paddles that face opposite directions for a symmetrical look. Each of the oars is a blotchy brown tone that highlights the watercolor inks used in the design. It's printed on white archival paper with deckled edges and fits within a sleek neutral-toned frame. Three wall hooks are affixed to the back for hassle-free hanging right out of the box.

Looks great above a queen bed at our lake house! Frame and print are high quality. Highly recommend!. Tim. Fairport, NY. Sun Jun 08 2025

Great art deserves to be on canvas! Unlike thin posters and paper prints, canvas artwork offers the texture, look, and feel of fine-art paintings. This artwork is crafted in the USA with artist-grade canvas, professionally hand-stretched and stapled over North American pine-wood bars in gallery wrap style; a method utilized by artists to present artwork in galleries. Your gallery-wrapped canvas comes mounted to a thick, elegant hardwood frame. The art is inset, leaving a space between the art and frame; creating a "floating" illusion. Fade-resistant archival inks guarantee perfect color reproduction that remains vibrant for decades even when exposed to strong light. Add brilliance in color and exceptional detail to your space with this contemporary and uncompromising style!

Gyotaku is a Japanese fish printing art created in the early 1800's using rice paper and natural berry inks to preserve exact sizes of prized catches. The rubbings were used to prove these records as this was pre photography times in that area. People would compete with each other and needed some way to record the fish as well as honoring the fish itself. The first printing was done with only one color just to prove size and species but at some point evolved to more colors to bring out a more artful rendition of the subject. This art form reproduces the exact features and characteristics of the fish.

Durability, image clarity, and color accuracy are our top priority, as we use archival inks to prevent fading and to preserve as much fine detail as possible with no over-saturation or color shifting. Featuring a proprietary design, these canvases produce the tightest corners without any bubbles, ripples, or bumps, and will not warp or sag over time. Additionally, these canvases include a finished backing with pre-installed hanging hardware that adds an extra level of style. Choose with or without a floating frame to achieve your desired look. This ready to hang, matted framed art piece features an American wild turkey cock in a field. John James Audubon (Jean-Jacques Audubon) was a French-American ornithologist, naturalist, and painter.
