The result is wide acceptance of giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished artwork.

This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features dancers in a studio. Edgar Degas (19 July 1834 - 27 September 1917) was a french artist famous for his paintings, sculptures, prints, and drawings. He is especially identified with the subject of dance. He is regarded as one of the founders of impressionism, although he rejected the term, and preferred to be called a realist. He was a superb draftsman, and particularly masterly in depicting movement. His portraits are notable for their psychological complexity and for their portrayal of human isolation.

I consider myself somewhat an art snob. I love different styles of art, mostly post-impressionism and impressionism. The colors match the original quite well and this print is a lovely version of the original. However, it's too small (short) to go in the spot I planned for it, I'll have no problem finding a new spot for it in my house.. Lindsey. Gilroy, CA. Fri May 22 2015
