This blanket is heavy, gorgeous, and definitely waterproof! I loved it so much when I first got it out of the package and was super excited about using it, however, it is so waterproof the water would not Spin out of it in the wash cycle. I had to lift it out of the machine completely waterlogged and take it outside to hang dry, which took forever (I’m talking days!). Maybe a smaller size would work better in the wash, but the king did not work in the washer, which I will unfortunately need it to with my dog using it daily. It sure is a beautiful blanket, though!.
