I ordered 2 brackets in the color bronze. The brackets are heavy duty, and you can tell they’re made with quality materials. These are going to be perfect for our heavy drapes. However, I will caution you against the color. We ordered the bronze but it arrived more like a chocolate brown color. There were hardly any visible metallic undertones as you would expect in a bronze item. We were able to sand them and paint them using some bronze spray paint we had on hand, so they work - but be careful when choosing your color.. Richard. Rockingham, VA. Wed Oct 14 2026

Add a touch of style to your home with the Newbury Standard Decorative Window Curtain Rod by Kenney. The 5/8 inch diameter Newbury curtain rod in black features matching ball finial ends. Use in your kitchen, bedroom, dining room, and living room to hang light to medium weight curtains. The telescoping rod adjusts from 28 inches to 48 inches to fit your window and projects 3 inches from the wall. It is ideal for hanging curtains with pockets, grommets, back tabs, and tab tops, but can also be used with clip rings.Drapery Hardware Set Includes: one telescoping steel curtain rod with decorative ball finials (2.62" L x 2.01" W x 2.01" H), two mounting brackets, screws, drywall anchors, and installation instructions.

Nice quality but be aware the ball at the end is small. Luckily it worked perfectly in the bathroom because didn't have a lot of space between window and shower. But it would have looked dumb in a bigger space. And it would not hold a heavy curtain. Ours is a light weight valence, which is fine.. Karen. NH. Thu Aug 21 2025
