Until we connected Wayfair as a supplier of frames, we'd had three water colors bought in 1974 that we weren't sure of how to frame. The ability to narrow the search parameters (white, 18x24, etc.) zeroed us in to convert our subjective "wants" to actual product selections that were easy to analyze. Not to mention, the set of 4 frames was near-perfect to our need. The attachment mechanism (cardboard with swivel clips that trap the art inside the frame) limits what you can put in; our pictures are premounted on their own wood frames so we now have to devise a way to fix the paintings into the frames. However, we are relived that the frames exactly also measure 18x24. The paint on the frames allows the grain-lines to show, which to us is nice. Also to be aware of: the frames' "glass" is blue plastic with the manufacturing date printed on it. So you probably won't want to use it. Buy (very thin) glass or plexiglass for your print/painting..
