The only downside is this mirror (ordered the largest size) had to be shipped to me 4 times before I got one that was intact. It seems those who ordered the smaller ones arrived without damage for other reviewers. I had to remove a star because the backing doesn't really prevent large pieces of glass or shards from coming off the mirror when it breaks, which is a benefit listed in the ad. I can say this with confidence after receiving 3 broken mirrors. Most of the time, the large pieces were still attached to the backing, but it one case, a large chunk of it did come off. I ordered this Mirrior to replace a similar oval vanity that had hanging wires. This mirror has a metal bracket with the star nail holes which allows you to properly secure this mirror to the wall. I gave this mirrior a 4 star rating because it’s as described in the product description, it looks great, was packaged securely with appropriate styrofoam which resulted in no scratches or damage to the mirror upon delivery. The issue I had with this mirror is that the 2 drywall anchors which came with this mirror does not have a “Flange or Collar” attached to them, as a result, the anchor itself will not be secured to the wall making it unstable and not safe once I made the attempt to place these anchors in my drywall and then attempted to drill in the screws, the anchor completely went deeper into the drywall and finally gone…because there is no flange / collar to stop it ( which also allows the anchor to slip completely through the drilled hole and into the wall cavity). Ouch lesson learned. I paid a visit to go to my local home improvement/ hardware retail store to obtain the correct drywall anchors. I don’t recommend you use the drywall anchors which came with this mirror. I did utilize the 2 screws with my new drywall fasteners. I attached my picture for review... Patricia5000. Lexington, SC. The aluminum French cleats on the back allow the mirror to be placed vertically or horizontally, and the included template with a level reference made quick work of- 20 minutes to hang the mirror and it looks great!
