A masterpiece of harmonious lines and delicate light, Ingres' voluptuous bather achieves a serene attitude. The artist completed this work as at student at the French Academy in Rome where early critics remarked of it, "Rembrandt himself would have envied the amber color of this pale torso." The authentic stretched canvas replica painting captures the original work's texture, depth of color, and even its subtle brushstrokes, which are applied by hand. With bas-relief organic styling, the multi-tiered, replica European style 3.25" wide frame is cast in quality designer resin and highlighted with an aged gold-toned finish. Proudly printed and framed in the USA using imported molding.
I bought this about a couple of weeks ago and wasn't sure about the quality, because I bought a bunch of the Wall26 style canvas without the frames and the difference is night and day and I will give away all my other canvas prints from Weico and Wall26. The class and texture and the vintage color of the frame made it worth the extra money that I will now pay.. Tennisgy0322. Los Angeles. Tue Feb 26 2019
