They are good quality and look great. I'll add that the assembly was more difficult than expected. Adding the hanging mechanism was a bit tricky: we carefully measured the length of the wire when putting the hangers on, etc. and still ended up with three different heights which meant mounting them on the wall required some extra consideration but overall happy with the value for the money.. The actual opening size will be reduced by 0.5 inches to prevent the image from falling through the opening. For example, a 4x6 mat opening will have an actual viewable area of 3.5x5.5. To attach your print to the matboard, center the image within the mat opening and secure the top side with an adhesive strip. Our pH neutral matboard maintains a professional appearance.

I've never given such a low review for anything I have purchased from Wayfair and as an Interior Designer, I've purchased many items. These frames are pretty cheaply made. The black finish is laminated onto the material beneath. Therefore, when the laminate was cut it peeled back a bit and all of the edges showed raw corners. It was easily remedied by a black marker on all the corners. I'm just hoping they stay together at the corners, some seem loose. You shouldn't have to repair an item you just purchased! My advice is to pay a little more and get better quality. I will say, however, that Wayfair did a great job of quickly answering my question about the matte size which is 11 x 14.. Carol.
