Oil Painting On Canvas Hand painted oil reproduction of a famous Kandinsky painting done in 1913, Farbstudie Quadrate (Color Study of Squares). Today it has been carefully recreated detail-by-detail, color-by-color to near perfection. Its brilliantly colored squares and concentric circles give it a very modern look. Why settle for a print when you can add sophistication to your rooms with a fine gallery reproduction oil painting? Influenced by Cezanne, Matisse, and the rich, glowing colors of the Fauves, Kandinsky has been proclaimed a leading figure of abstract painting and one of the most influential abstract art pioneers. His works combine the qualities of Art Nouveau with the strong folk art of northern Russia. Why not grace your home with this reproduced masterpiece? It is sure to bring many admirers!

Wassily Kandinsky was a groundbreaking artist for whom the term abstract expressionist was coined, more than a decade prior to the rise of American artists like Jackson Pollock. Inspired by the colors of Fauvism and Impressionism, Kandinsky's goal was to use painting as an emotional language. The painting was a spiritual activity for him, and he practiced abstract art to move beyond physical boundaries. He wanted to mimic music with his paintings. The way music could call to mind images and colors, he wanted to create sound with his shapes and colors. This is clearly expressed in composition VII, even in the name of the piece. The abstract shapes in many different colors and a swirling pattern create a "noisy" image and might call to mind an orchestral composition. With its vivid and bright colors, this painting will look great in the bedroom.

Beautiful! The frame is just what I was looking for. The colors are sensational!. Jaqueline. Bal Harbour Fl. Thu Jun 16 2022
