This is a pretty decent pair of poster sized frames. There is not a mat included with the frames, but I am going to see if I can try to turn some of the packaging into a mat just to create a small border for the images I want to hang up. I've never given such a low review for anything I have purchased from Wayfair and as an Interior Designer, I've purchased many items. These frames are pretty cheaply made. The black finish is laminated onto the material beneath. Therefore, when the laminate was cut it peeled back a bit and all of the edges showed raw corners. It was easily remedied by a black marker on all the corners. I'm just hoping they stay together at the corners, some seem loose. You shouldn't have to repair an item you just purchased! My advice is to pay a little more and get better quality. I will say, however, that Wayfair did a great job of quickly answering my question about the matte size which is 11 x 14.. Carol.
