John Constable Open Box Wall Art

This is a nice reproduction of constable, the colors vivid. Definitely a “5.”. Julia. Colrain, MA. Sun Sep 21 2025

From the farm hand crossing the stream with horse and wagon to the precise species of tree, this scene was built upon painstakingly accurate outdoor sketches rendered with exacting brushstrokes in the studio. British artist Constable is largely responsible for reviving the importance of landscape painting in the 19th century, ushering in the age of the Impressionists. The authentic stretched canvas replica painting captures the original work's texture, depth of color, and even its subtle brushstrokes, which are applied by hand. The replica 4.375" wide, European style, bright gold-toned, ribbed frame is cast in quality designer resin with an acanthus leaf and floret border that draws the eye toward the beautiful image. Proudly printed and framed in the USA using imported molding.

A sophisticated statement piece that beautifully complements both classic and contemporary interiors.

From exactly 10 feet away, although dark, this is a really nice image. It was matted and framed well. The plexiglass is WAY too reflective for this photo image. Up close, you see mostly reflections of yourself and everything behind you despite trying all different lighting conditions. At the time of this review the listing says custom-framed canvas. This is absolutely a digital print on photo paper, which adds to the high reflectiveness. Additionally, if you see the photo at an angle, you can see the waving of the print inside the frame because it isn't laying flat. Any prints I have over 16x24 need to be custom framed so they don't look like this. My recommendation would be to purchase an actual framed canvas of this image. It would be pulled tighter and have a matt finish. High potential for a beautiful, lightweight piece, but missed the mark.. Brooke. Boca Raton, FL. Sat Jun 20 2026
