I purchased a pillow insert one size larger, so that it would be nice and firm for a lumber pillow. We source our Bogolan Mudcloth from Western Africa. The fabric is dyed and composed of a thick cotton canvas, spun and woven 100% by hand. A pattern is dyed with fermented mud and other organic dyes. The dyeing technique is 100% organic, free from all kinds of harmful chemicals. Craftsmen draw symbols on these fabrics to tell traditional stories of the peoples of the region. These beautiful pillows use hand woven fabrics imported from India. (Pillow Insert NOT included). The pillow backing on these have a solid natural beige cotton fabric. They are a conversation piece for which ever room you decide to use them in. Instead of the zipper being at one end, the is a fold in the fabric where the zipper is located, so you will never see it no matter how you choose to lay the pillow down.
