Just like at the beach, temperature is way more important than the time, so the temperature information is big. The thermometer uses precision made coils and is scaled for Fahrenheit readings. The clock uses a quartz movement for accuracy. This outdoor thermometer with clock requires 1 AA battery (sold separately).

It really is a pretty vintage-inspired clock. We have it indoors. I really like the extra temperature and humidity dials on it, it’s nice to have that information inside the house too. So far very nice click, keeps good time. Love the big numbers. Put on our pool deck were it I doesn’t get direct sun. Was looking for an outdoor clock at a reasonable price.
