This vinyl film was so worth the purchase. The price seemed reasonable and the concrete pattern is really attractive and almost realistic. I used it to cover MDF countertops for a quick kitchen upgrade. They were easy to apply and trim to fit the counters. If I needed to adjust them I could do so before the adhesive set completely. Over the first 24 hours it was on the air bubbles appeared but were easy to push to the edge and out. I have old, shabby kitchen counters that are looking very worse for wear and definitely need to be completely replaced. However, I can't afford a complete overhaul, so decided to opt for contact paper to make the kitchen look presentable to guests until I can finally replace everything professionally. I have to say: this couldn't be more perfect for what I wanted. Don't get me wrong--this will never be confused for real marble and isn't a substitute for professional renovation. However, it looks like really good quality laminate. To test it, I sneakily covered the counters without telling a relative, to see how they would react. I almost gave up on this item. I started pasting it on the wall (adhesive paste included). Attaching is really hard maybe because I did it the first time. There were bubbles and the edges were really hard to paste. I was thinking at that time that I wasted my money on this. I finished pasting it that day. I couldn't believe how good this looks on my bathroom countertops. It's very sturdy. It was not hard to work with and blends well when lining up the edges. I even overlapped a little and cut some odd shapes so it would look more natural. I even did the outside of my bath tub & caulked around. I do not recommend a polyurethane top coat because it dulled & gave slightly tan tint and really isnt necessary.
