Natural Finishes Cuckoo Clocks

The Heidi's Chalet themed German quartz cuckoo clock accurately keeps time and plays 12 different melodies, a different one at the top of each hour. Two children and their pets revolve on a turntable next to an old man. Two decorative pine cone weights are suspended beneath the clock case by two chains. Every hour the cuckoo bird emerges from a swinging door above the clock dial and counts the hour by cuckooing once per hour. (Example: At one o'clock the bird will cuckoo once. At eight o'clock the bird will cuckoo eight times.). After the cuckoo bird cuckoos one of 12 different melodies will play. 1. Happy Wanderer, 2. Edelweiss, 3. Dr. Zhivago, 4. Swan Lake, 5. He was beautiful (theme song of the movie "Deer Hunter"), 6. Lorelei, 7. Home sweet Home, 8. Sound of Silence, 9. Clementine, 10. The Entertainer (theme song of the movie "Sting"), 11. Love theme of the movie "The Godfather", 12. Fur Elise. This cuckoo clock has music on/off switch, an off switch (for cuckoo and music), and a light sensor that silences the clock when it is dark. Great effort has been made to portray each cuckoo clock as accurately as possible. As with many handmade items, the exact coloration and carving may vary slightly from clock to clock. This is a special part of their character.

We are generally happy with this clock, but, even though the dimensions were noted in the ad, we definitely thought that the clock would be larger. Also, the ad indicated that “two children and their pets revolve on a turntable next to an old man.” This does not exist on this clock??. Rick. Chesterfield, MO. Mon Nov 02 2026

This eight day musical black forest cuckoo clock cottage features a man drinking beer. This At the top of every hour the man raises his beer stein up and down, the waterwheel turns, the dancers revolve, and the clock plays one of two different twenty-eight note melodies, Edelweiss and the Happy Wanderer. The cuckoo cottage is surrounded by hand-made items such as trees, dogs, and a deer. Three cast iron pine cone weights are suspended beneath the clock case by three separate brass chains. The hand-made pendulum continously swings back and forth which controls the timing of the clock. On every hour the cuckoo bird emerges from a swinging door above the clock dial and counts the hour by cuckooing once per hour. (Example: At one o'clock the bird will cuckoo once. At eight o'clock the bird will cuckoo eight times) The half hour is announced with one cuckoo call. There is a sound shut-off device beneath the base of the cuckoo clock. Pushing the lever up disables the cuckoo birds cuckoo, the beer drinker, waterwheel, and the music. Pulling the lever down enables the beer drinker, the waterwheel to move and allows the music and cuckoo. The 30 hour mechanical Regula movement is wound once per day by raising the three pine cone weights. One weight powers the time, one weight powers the Swiss music box, and the other weight powers the cuckoo bird and cuckoo call, the beer drinker, and waterwheel. *Great effort has been made to portray each cuckoo clock as accurately as possible. As with many handmade items, the exact coloration and carving may vary slightly from clock to clock. We consider this to be a special part of their character.
