I was totally surprised and amazed at the size and quality of the whale snake plant. These are more difficult to find, and these two came quickly and were really well wrapped. They were so tightly placed in the box, that we had to cut the box apart to get the leaves out. The only complaint would be the choice of soil used for the leaves. It was like mud and completely wrong for this plant. An easy fix.. Irene. Chippewa Falls, WI. Sun Oct 11 2026

This vigorous, showy vine shines with bright, magenta-red, petal-like bracts. Creates a fine cover for patios or arbors, and is a dramatic groundcover for banks when allowed to ramble unsupported. Drought tolerant when established. Evergreen in frost-free climates; provides superb warm season color in colder winter areas. The Bougainvillea variety Barbara Karst is a marriage of toughness and beauty. Not only does Barbara Karst handle desert heat well, it has been noted as hardy down to 25F. From spring, all the way through summer, the relatively inconspicuous blossoms of Barbara Karst are surrounded by bracts of such a bright magenta-red color that they almost look unreal, though in light shade the bracts will take on a more earthly violet cast. Plant in full sun to bring out the bright color of the bracts, if planted in more shade the color will dull to a reddish-blue. It requires very little irrigation along the coast once established.

Triostar Stromanthe Prayer Plant brings soft color and an artistic botanical pattern to home décor. Its mix of green, cream, pink, and burgundy pairs beautifully with blush accents, warm wood, white furniture, brass finishes, and neutral textiles. Use it to brighten a darker furniture arrangement, add color to a bathroom vanity, or create contrast within a layered plant display. Place the grower pot inside a white ceramic planter for a light coordinated look, a burgundy container to highlight the deeper tones, or a woven basket for added warmth and texture. Its watercolor like appearance works especially well in modern, glam, tropical, and eclectic interiors where the plant can become part of the room’s overall color story.
