I thought the overall size of this framed painting would be 18x27. It is not. That must have just been the painting. With the frame, the overall size is 22x31! Not sure if I'm keeping it at this time. Fairly big difference when I needed 27" wide framed picture as I ordered the other heron print as well. Future generations including Charles Darwin all drew on his expertise through his published legacy. These prints drawn over the course of his life are as true and accurate today as they were in the 1700s, sadly, some species will never be seen except in his drawings.

I mentioned to my daughter how much I enjoyed the pelicans we have in FL, They are re such noble birds!
