This aerial panoramic photograph of the Gleneagles Hotel and Golf Courses was taken by James Blakeway. From left to right are the challenging 5,965 yard Queen's Course, the famous 6,790 yard King's Course and at 7,088 yards, the PGA Centenary Course. The King's and Queen's Courses were designed by the first man to win five Open Championships, James Braid. The King's Course opened in 1919 and is considered a masterpiece that tests even the best players' shot-making skills. Venue of the 2014 Ryder Cup, the PGA Centenary Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus was opened in 1993 and is a modern classic.

This panorama of Charlotte was taken by James Blakeway and features a twilight view of downtown Charlotte. On the far left, with its brightly-lit roof, is Odell Plaza. Moving to the right and located in the center of Uptown Charlotte is the tallest building in the city, the 60-story Bank of America Corporate Center. To the far right is the 3rd tallest building in Charlotte, The Vue. It was completed in 2010 and is a 677-foot tall skyscraper. Charlotte is the largest city in North Carolina and a top tourist destination in the Carolinas. Its proximity to a wide variety of markets has led to Charlotte's maturation as a financial and distribution center for the Southeastern United States.

Attracted by warm ocean waters and sunny tropical days, Waikiki is visited by tourists from all regions of the world. Centered in the photograph is the famous, pink Royal Hawaiian Hotel. As one of the first hotels on Waikiki Beach, the Royal Hawaiian has been a popular landmark for many years. This aerial panorama, taken by James Blakeway, captures NASCAR’s most challenging test of man and machine, the running of the legendary NASCAR Sprint Cup Series™ Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This 1.5 mile superspeedway, built in 1959 on the outskirts of the Queen City track, was once the site of a working plantation during the Civil War. On June 19, 1960, the new facility held its first race, the first World 600. During the ensuing years, the facility continuously established new industry standards, including the first to offer 40 condominiums high above turn one and the first modern superspeedway to host night auto racing.

This aerial panoramic photograph of Providence was taken by James Blakeway. It shows downtown Providence nestled on the banks of Providence River, which flows into Narragansett Bay. Toward the left, moored at the mouth of the river, is a Cold War era Soviet Submarine (NATO designation – Juliett 484). This ship is one of only two of her class outside the Soviet Union. During the Cold War, she targeted East Coast cities like Washington, DC, and New York with nuclear cruise missiles. The two tallest buildings, centered in the photograph, are the Fleet Bank building on the left and the Fleet Boston building on the right. In the distance is the Rhode Island State Capitol with its domed roof.

This panoramic photograph of Las Vegas was taken by James Blakeway from atop Mandalay Bay. The spectacular view looking north spotlights Las Vegas Boulevard, which is more commonly known as the "Las Vegas Strip." Featured on the left is the pyramid-shaped Luxor Hotel and Casino, as well as Excalibur and New York, New York. On the right side, about halfway down the Strip, is Paris with its replica of the Eiffel Tower. In the distance is the Stratosphere Tower. At 1,149 feet, Stratosphere Tower is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the US and has amusement rides at the top. Tourism is the dominant industry in Las Vegas, with the Strip as the main attraction.

This panorama of downtown Pittsburgh, taken by James Blakeway, showcases one of the unique features of this city, known as the “City of Bridges.” Located at the source of the Ohio and at the confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers, Pittsburgh has over 700 bridges within the city limits. These rivers supported the proliferation of the city’s rich mineral resources, adding “City of Steel” to its moniker. Pittsburgh also enjoys a rich sports history with three major league sports teams and many athletic university programs. Featured on the left is Heinz Field, home to the Pittsburgh Steelers and to the right of Heinz Field is PNC Park, home to the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Centered prominently in the photograph is the famous St. Stephan's Cathedral, one of the chief Gothic buildings of Europe. Parts of the cathedral are the original 12th-century Romanesque structure, which was destroyed by fire. Rebuilt, it was again burned and partly destroyed in World War II and has since been restored. The city suffered heavy damage in World War II but the character remains much the same after the rebuilding.

Yorktown (CV-10), commissioned in 1943 and named after the famous U.S.S. Yorktown (CV-5) sunk at Midway. The oldest city in South Carolina, Charleston is famous for its picturesque streets, houses, and other 18th Century monuments. It was also the scene of the first incident of the Civil War, the firing on Fort Sumter. On the waterfront, toward the right tip of the peninsula, is White Point Gardens, where many Civil War cannons are displayed. Charleston is a major regional port and manufacturing center.

This twilight panorama, taken by Christopher Gjevre, features Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza, often referred to as The Plaza. This 55-acre site was the first shopping center in the world designed to accommodate shoppers arriving by automobile. Designed in 1922, it is an outdoor museum featuring Spanish architecture and European art. Thanksgiving evening, the United States Ends of visitors officially welcome the holiday season at the annual lighting of this upscale shopping district. Tens of the United States Ends of multi-colored lights, spanning dozens of miles, outline the buildings and creates a magical wonderland that continues through mid-January.

Beginning in 1715 with the building of its first dock, this port city became one of the wealthiest cities in the world through maritime trade. To the left of Jacobs Field is Gund Arena, home of the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team. Cleveland is strategically located for transportation and commerce because of its excellent harbors, making it one of the busiest ports on the Great Lakes.

Left of the ballpark is American West Arena, home to the Phoenix Suns basketball team. Phoenix, the capital of Arizona, lies in the Sonora Desert surrounded by mountains. This city is the sixth largest in the U.S. and may eventually become the fifth largest as warm temperatures and low humidity spur continued record growth. The area is often referred to as the "Valley of the Sun."

Each August, Sturgis and the Black Hills of South Dakota attract hundreds of thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the world. The first Sturgis Rally, known as the Black Hills Classic, was held in the summer of 1938 and included a race of nine participants on a dirt track. Today, it's South Dakota's largest tourism event and one of the world's largest motorcycle rallies. The week-long activities include Main Street action, concerts, races, road tours and bike shows. Much of the history of the Sturgis Rally and races can be found at Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame.

This NASCAR 'Bristol Motor Speedway Food City 500' by Christopher Gjevre Framed Photographic Print was taken by Christopher Gjevre. Constructed in 1960 on a parcel of land that was once a 100 acre dairy farm, today it is home to some of the best racing entertainment in the nation. With its famous high-banked half-mile track, Bristol is the fastest of the short tracks and drivers must bring a setup that allows the car to roll through the turns. In addition to its other distinct features, Bristol now boasts the world's largest outdoor center-hung video screen, which takes racing entertainment to a whole new level.

From this view, the city is flanked on the right by the Delaware River and on the left by the Schuylkill River. Visible in the distance and spanning across the Delaware River is the Ben Franklin Bridge, a suspension bridge connecting Philadelphia and Camden, New Jersey. Prominently positioned left of center in the photograph is Comcast Center, the tallest building in the city. Moving right are the next three tallest buildings, which include BNY Mellon Center, One Liberty Place and Two Liberty Place.
